Boujois Rouge Edition 10

So today I've tried out my new lipstick. It's a really creamy feel on, the colour is really vivid and it's lasted really well this morning. It doesn't feel too heavy on either which is really nice, some red lipsticks go bobbly when you top it up but this one hasn't which is a win in my books! Would totally recommend this colour! Only downside is I thought it would be a little more orange coloured but I do love the colour!

Pastel Blue Fifties Dress.

Just been looking through some old photos from last year and came across some from my Mamma and Grandad's anniversary party. I've got to say the outfit I wore is one of my favourites! I bought it when I was in year 6 for one of my birthday parties, which was Hairspray themed! My cousin wore it for that party, I wore it on a 'big writing day' where I was sewn into it for the day as the zip broke! Amazingly this dress still fits me now, and I'm so glad that I does as its a truly gorgeous dress!

So here's some photos...

I love these photos of me and my Grandad jiving!

Mustard.

Although winter is slowly(very slowly) coming to an end I still love a good mustard combo, I guess mustard is really an autumn colour but the way the sun was shining this morning and the colours of nature I chose this outfit. I guess my outfit was based around my vintage case, an item I've been in love with for 2 years, I bought it from a antique shop as I'd fell in love with it and couldn't bare the thought of anyone else having it. My inspiration for this little I guess photoshoot was an old train station, I went on the train last week and it made me think how glamourous women used to dress to travel. Lastly 'Russian' headbands and hats are supposed to be in at the minute so I thought I'd give it a little vintage twist and have a chance to wear my fluffy collar. Enjoy...

Lips of the day.

So yesterday I went shopping and bought a new lipstick, it's one of the revlon 'colourburst lip butter' and it's in the colour 'candy apple'. I thought it would be a more vivid red but was really happy with the colour it actually is, it's a quite sheer red and feels so silky on, this is the perfect spring/summer red.

It looks quite pink on this last photo, but I think that's just the lighting- here's a hand swatch.

In other news I also bought some fabulous chunky black heels from primark yesterday which I'll post about later and I'm having my hair recoloured today so I'll post about that at some point too!

New Playsuit!

I fell in love with this playsuit in Ark the other week but held off from buying it for some strange reason, after days of dreaming of it I finally got my friend who works there to get it for me. It's so comfy but also looks great on! I wore it to a meal the other night and dressed it up with black tights& black wedge ankle boots(& of course good hair and makeup!) I love the pattern and the shape of the playsuit. Here's a few photos...

(Only down side to it was the toilet issue as it has a zip all the way up the back and buttons which is difficult to undo yourself!)

Little black dress.

So I've started making my 'college wardrobe' Here's one of the dresses I ordered, its a bodycon style dress from new look, it was only £9.99! I wore it to work the other day and took a few photos it's so comfy and looks great with my bowler hat!

Might sound silly but I felt pretty French in this outfit!

Hell Bunny Dress.

Now I really do love hell bunny dresses they are so lovely, also you can get so many varities some can be 'grunge' style but they also do beautiful vintage style patterns on the vintage style dress. This week we went to a lovely shop in Stratford called 'Aspire'. It was filled with lots of different brands of gorgeous dresses and lovely clothes! When I saw my dress my heart skipped a beat it is so beautiful, it's fun yet classy i'd say! It was fifty five pounds worth of beauty. I have never seen a hell bunny dress with the same cross over work on the bust line. What makes it even better is the name of the dress 'sassy blue'. Anyway without further ado heres the dress, and some pose-y photos(sorry!)

its good to have a hairdresser as a mum!
