The Anti-Prom Queen.

Friday night was the night of my best friend Beth's prom, but after thinking the pros and cons of prom she had decided not to go. But she still wanted to get dressed up and go out so we went out for a really fancy meal at Stones in Matlock. Which was a really lovely night, after getting through all the hectic 'prom transport traffic' there was some real 'out there' ways this year!

I found with prom that the best bit of prom was the getting ready so we got ready together and I did her hair and make up, well make up we did together as Beth likes to wear more than me! Bethany looked absolutely beautiful! We went up to the market to see her friends and get some photos, sadly it was raining so we didn't get to see most peoples dresses or get many photos.

Although what Beth wore for anti-prom was simple, she still looked glamorous and obviously like a princess which is always the aim! She also wore my gorgeous flower crown from @stephanieeveraftercrowns which is now the official anti-prom queen crown!

Here's a few photos of the official anti-prom queen...

Thanks for viewing my lovelies! Have you had your prom this year? Leave me links in the comments and i'll check out your posts!xo

Meadowhall Trip.

So I thought I'd do a little post on my shopping trip to Meadowhall today, the outfit I wore was quite 1950's inspired with the polka dot midi skirt and off the shoulder top, I also wore my Vivienne Westwood pearls and Swedish Hasbeens.

Me and Mum had planned to go to Meadowhall for my Illamasqua make over at Debenhams. The lady that did my makeup was really lovely, I asked her to do something that I couldn't do myself and that was different to my usual look. The makeup she did was quite amazing, really dark eyes using gel eyeliner as eyeshadow and using purple pigment and the Paranormal Palette, really defined brows, bright lips, blush, bronzer and foundation. Like I said it was amazing, but not so much on me. I felt quite uncomfortable in this much makeup, the eyes were too dark for my pale skin and made me feel like a panda/ drag queen. The brows were completely different to how I've ever done them and I felt they changed the shape of my face. I love Illamasqua makeup and it was a great experience but I don't think that amount of makeup is for me! I did love the ombré lip she gave me and bought the 2 colours she used 'Glisade' and 'Soaked' from the Glamour Collection which I've had my eye one for a while.

I also bought a pink flowy cami top from River Island for £10, and these amazing trousers from Zara for £19.99. I might actually wear these together as I love the combo!

Thanks for viewing lovelies xo

Skort.

It was my friend Alex's birthday yesterday so I thought I would share what I wore to her party with you. I bought this skort a couple of weeks ago and its really comfy, it's a soft, stretchy fabric and was a really good price! (£13 from Ark) I had been looking at skorts for a while but hadn't found a pattern I liked as much as this one, the monochrome gingham is a print I'm loving at the moment. I wore it with a simple black cami from Topshop, tights and my chunky heels from Primark.

With the Birthday Girl! (Alex's playsuit was from Ark too, it was really cute!)

I also did Alex& Sue's make up last night, here's a photo I posted on my Instagram-

Wish list!

Thought I'd do a cheeky little wish list post as I've been doing quite a bit of online shopping lately, so here's some of the lovely things I've seen online and have got my heart set on!

1.  Fuji Instax Mini 8.
This camera is so adorable, it's perfect too as it's instant! I love Polaroids and I'm so sad that my old one has broke!

2. Illamasqua Glamour Lipstick in Soaked.

I've even looking at orange lipsticks for a while and completely fell in love when I saw Illamasqua have brought one out in their spring range!

3. Juju Glow In The Dark Wellies! (Asos)

I am a pretty basic wellie wearer usually but when I saw juju do glow in the dark ones, I jumped for joy! These would be perfect for ynot (or any festival)

4. Pastel Blue JuJus!

Everyone seems to be in love with them and I see why! They're so cute and perfect for summer!

5. Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner.

Cause what girl doesn't wish they were Alexa Chung? Yeah that's what I thought.

6. Mom shorts - Topshop.
Summer shorts are a must, and I love them all through the year! This colour is so cute and would be great with almost any top!

7. Gingham Cigarette Trousers - Topshop.

Now I've got black and white I need these too! Perfect for spring and summer.

8. Boucle Scollop Hem Shorts - Topshop.

Yes these are shorts! How great is that?! Perfect spring colour too!

So that's all for today guys! Love to hear what you think or what's on your wish lists for this season!xo

Pin Up Inspired Makeup.

On Friday my outfit, hair and makeup was pin up inspired. For this look I did a pretty basic flicked eye liner, matte skin, defined brows and red lips, the makeup I used was mainly Illamasqua with my YSL lipstick. I did these cheeky morning selfies for the Illamasqua's #imtheone competition,  hence the rollers left in, I didn't go to college with them in I promise! So here's a few cheeky shots, my shirt is from topshop and the skirt which you can't see if from forever 21.

Tea-Shirt.

ITonight we went out for Lauren's birthday and I wore my new Doc Martens tea-shirt. I wore it with my topshop snake skin leather front skirt and black wedges and of course my goregous Viv bag. Mum had blow dried my hair and put sleep in rollers in it, and I used some of my favourite make up bits and pieces. I used Illamasqua skin base foundation, precision gel liner, mascara, eyebrow cake and hydro viel, I also used the new baby skin primer from maybelline, a Dior palette with blues in and my new ysl lipstick in shade 01 and lip liner in shade 19.

I got extremely excited when I saw Forever 21, I love it so so so very much! When we went to Dubai we went in lots there and from then I've been completely in love! I got 3 skirts and some undies, and was quite proud of myself for not buying everything in the two tonne basket I was lugging round the shop. I got a cropped tie shirt from topshop and a Christmas jumper (don't judge it was a bargain!) , a shirt I've been dreaming of for ages from Dr Martens, I got some pants from Boux Avenue, a YSL lipstick and lip liner from Selfridges because I couldn't contain myself and it was just so pretty! We had Italian in Selfridges and Krispy Kreme doughnuts ahhhhh doughnuts!! So here's from photos from Saturday and of my new things...
