New Hair Colour!

I've been feeling a bit off on my hair for the past couple of weeks, it needed more than a freshen up, I needed change! So the bright pink has been taken over by a rich purpley pink! I love it! It's a more classy pink and hopefully will be less effort to maintain than the bright pink!

Oh & I've also decided i want to be a fairy princess full time now!

Here's some photos!

Foam rollers.

So we ordered some foam rollers off Amazon the other day and I'm trying them for the first time. As my mums a hairdresser she put them in for me and she said that it was quite simple, after the tricky bit of getting these little things open. You basically just twist your hair around the foam barrel, they're really soft and squishy! Great for sleeping on! So this morning I went for a jog and they stayed in perfectly! The clip bits on them are really useful.

We bought these after seeing lots of hair dressers and vintage hair people raving out how good they were!

Here's some images:

With the rollers in...

Here's before brushing the curls out...

Here's when I'd brushed them softly and styled the front...

This is the roller itself, the spongy section in the middle unclips...

I hope this has been useful for you viewers!xo

Outfit, Hair & Makeup of the day!

So I'm quite liking todays outfit, and hair, and makeup. I was going to do a little picture tutorial on how I did the makeup but the photos came out pretty bad so I'm not posting them. Today's dress is my lovely Topshop autumny flowery dress, which I think is a bit 1950's tea dress-ish. I've also used a different foundation today which is Urban Decay's Naked Foundation (got a free sample so thought I'd give it a go) its a really nice foundation, it's quite watery yet gives a flawless natural finish. I used my Illamasqua eyeliner gel and brush to do my eyeliner flicks again, I can't believe how much easier using an angled brush and gel is to using a pen! Anyway here's some photos!

shirt & soft.

I wore my shirt I bought at the student lock in to college on Tuesday, I wore it with my super soft green velvet skirt and my Minnie Mouse/ Princess Leia hair. I really liked this outfit cause its quite smart but at the same time really fun with the patterns on the shirt and the colour and texture of the skirt.

(Hair colours look so strange on this one.)

My friend Hannah got me this gorgeous cropped fluffy jumper for my birthday, keep wearing it all the time! I wore it with the skirt(without the shirt) for college this week as its a super soft cuddly outfit for the dull weather!

Hair change!

Really fancied something different for my hair for summer, last year it was pinky red, but this year I wanted something a little more "grown up" and more natural. So I went for an ombré look, so far I love it! Took a lot getting from red to this half blonde half brown combo. It started on Sunday with just the underneath being blonde, but mum put more in today( worry not mother is a hair dresser!) I'm really happy with how it is now. Seeing as I've had to have the blonde bits bleached(most twice!) it's not in the best condition but hey ho, it'll get there! Have some slightly posey(sorry!) photos!

Prom!

Hey everyone! Prom was pretty good last night, just as I thought the getting ready and having photos was my favourite parts! I was so happy how well my make up turned out too! I did mine, Hannah and Sue's make up and was pretty pleased with all of them. My dress as I've posted before felt great on and I got so many lovely comments on it! I felt like a princess when I was all ready which was great! My mum did my hair in a quite naturalish style, with flowers which again I had many lovely comments on. My friends all looked lovely too! Heres some photos from the night- enjoy! xo

Laura had her dress custom made with her pokemon material that she had made! she looked so beautiful!

1950s inspired look.

My outfit from yesterday was a 1950s inspired look, it consisted of a large vintage Hawaiian shirt tied at the bottom and high waisted shorts. I did my hair in a ponytail and with a rolled swirl at the front. My makeup was quite basic but affective, brown eye shadows, a gel liner, mascara and red lips.
