So I was scrolling through the Vivienne Westwood Twitter photos last night and found this gorgeous photo of Gwen Stefani, and guess what she has the same bag as me! Some people will just be like so? But I love Gwen, especially her style and love the thought that we have in item in common.

Birmigham Haul.
So me and Beth went to Birmingham on Saturday and did lots of shopping in the Bullring! I got lots of new stuff so I thought I'd do a haul post for you lovelies. I got extremely excited when I saw Forever 21, I love it so so so very much! When we went to Dubai we went in lots there and from then I've been completely in love! I got 3 skirts and some undies, and was quite proud of myself for not buying everything in the two tonne basket I was lugging round the shop. I got a cropped tie shirt from topshop and a Christmas jumper (don't judge it was a bargain!) , a shirt I've been dreaming of for ages from Dr Martens, I got some pants from Boux Avenue, a YSL lipstick and lip liner from Selfridges because I couldn't contain myself and it was just so pretty! We had Italian in Selfridges and Krispy Kreme doughnuts ahhhhh doughnuts!! So here's from photos from Saturday and of my new things...

Directions colour- Flamingo Pink.
So the other day I was looking on the blue banana site and they're doing a blog off I guess I'd called it to win all 22 gorgeous shades of directions colour. I love bright hair and would love to experiment with some of the other great colours from directions. Currently I would say apple green is the colour I'm loving the most from them, it's so vivid and rich really the perfect green, although 'alpine' looks phenomenal. I used 'flamingo pink' when I've had pink hair in the past and again it really is the perfect pink! It's a hot pink that can look great as a colour flash or as an all over colour. My friend has used 'Atlantic blue' before and I couldn't believe how bright it went, a real stunning blue! I think if you an ombré look using carnation pink as the main colour fading to lavender and into lilac would look beautiful for a spring summer look. I've got admit I miss having red hair and would love to try the different shades that la riche have to offer, 'pillarbox red' and 'rubine' are my favorites of the red shades.
Here's some photos of my pink hair!

Chunky heels.
I've got to admit I'm not the stiletto heel type of gal, I much prefer a chunky heel and have been looking for a good not overly expensive pair for a while. On Saturday I gave in and finally bought a pair from Primark for only £14! They remind me of the chunky Prada heels and the ones Alexa Chung has. I love how she dresses them down and make them look so good! Alexa is a massive style icon to me and to so many other people, she has such a versatile style that so many people can interpret in different ways, if you don't already have it I would defiantly recommend buying her book 'it'.

Lips of the day.
So yesterday I went shopping and bought a new lipstick, it's one of the revlon 'colourburst lip butter' and it's in the colour 'candy apple'. I thought it would be a more vivid red but was really happy with the colour it actually is, it's a quite sheer red and feels so silky on, this is the perfect spring/summer red.
It looks quite pink on this last photo, but I think that's just the lighting- here's a hand swatch.
In other news I also bought some fabulous chunky black heels from primark yesterday which I'll post about later and I'm having my hair recoloured today so I'll post about that at some point too!
Thanks for viewing xo

Winter warmers are an obvious must in this weather! And I loved my outfit from yesterday, so I thought I'd share it with you lovely people. My outfit consisted of a grey knit dress from new look that has little velvet roses on, my great mamma Ruby's faux fur coat and my ted baker fluffy headband. Here's a few photos:

Blog's New Look.
So I've been playing around with my layout tonight, what do you guys think? Personally I'm pretty happy with it, really pleased with the new header I created, and the colour scheme is a little bit more personal now.
Let me know what you think, if you like?

Green hair.
So last week I tried out l'oreal hair chalks on the blonde sections of my hair. The main colour I used was a green called 'garden party', I really loved this colour it was so vivid. The 'chalks' are liquids and are said to last 2 washes, they make your hair feel really dry to touch but I chose to use non heat forms of styling to curl my hair so I didn't damage it or to dry it out further. After one wash on my hair the colour went an awful pale green, which resulted in my texting my wonderful hairdresser of a mother, with the text 'help, I look like the sea'. She then had to wash my hair first with a hair oil called mythic oil, then washing with a volume shampoo recommended by l'oreal. All in all I would probably use the hair chalks again, probably even the green because I really did love the colour and how the main brown of my hair and the green looked together. So out of ten I'd give the brightness of the chalk a 10, the feel of it on would have to be a 5 because the green did run when I had watery eyes that ran into my hair and the texture was straw-like, and the lasting power would have to be a 5 too because maybe if I had washed it in different shampoo or maybe for less time it would have lasted better.
Thanks for viewing my lovelies xo
